Directors statement:

Katherine grew up loving action and mystery films and TV shows.
She grew up in London. Her dad is British, and her mum is Swedish. 

Her passion for the film industry began in year 9 when she started her photography classes for her GCSE’s. 

The way you could evoke many emotions from people and inform them through a single shot of life is a powerful thing. 

During Katherine’s GCSE’s she thought if she could tell a powerful story through a couple of snapshots of a moment in time, what could she tell within a film.

Katherine took film in college and created many different films, for example a Sweded trailer, which was shown at the swede fest/ the sweded film festival, 2023. She also created a documentary about the stresses of applying to university and how to overcome them, a music video, and a short film murder mystery. 

Katherine loves to direct her productions and getting involved in all aspects of the film making process.

In her spare time she also does SFX make up, a skill she has taught her self by watching youtube tutorials. 

Katherine has dyslexia but she has her own saying when it comes to working through it: ” my dyslexia is just another mountain that I must climb to be successful. I will never let it stop me from achieving my dreams”.
